Here’s some pictures from the Magicastuck shoot I organized at Sakuracon this year. I’d say this was a success!

A couple people have asked me what’s going on in these pictures, So, in a nutshell, the story behind these pictures is that Madoka and Homura were fighting witches, John and Dave were….. idk. Just chilling, I guess, when they were attacked by these Horrorterror witch minions, with John and Madoka getting kidnapped in the process. Homura and Dave go search for them, and after a minor misunderstanding that ends with them nearly killing each other, they team up and look for their (boy/girl/best)friends. Meanwhile, Madoka meets John and they become fast friends. After fending off more witch minions, Kyubey approaches John and tries to get him to contract, deciding to make an exception to his “Girls only” rule because John’s so powerful. Homura and Dave arrive just in time and Homura stops Kyubey from making the contract with John by shooting the incubator. After a Happy Reunion scene, Lord Walpurgisnacht shows up to try to mess things up, and together, all four kids team up to take the witch down. After defeating, the four share a giant group hug in celebration (It was all Madoka’s idea) and they time warp out to their respective points in time.

to a certain extent! it originally started that way, but as time went on we realized that having direct parallels would be a bit dull and so we’ve kind of diverted from the original path. it’s sort of a blend now—some follow a certain character’s path to an extent, whereas others go in a completely different direction. :O

it’s more-or-less an official au without a concrete storyline. you can sort of piece together the roles and fates of each character if you try hard enough. :D we’re not the only ones, though—a lot of people have come up with their own outfits and headcanons, and we think that’s totally cool (which is why we end up reblogging so many conflicting designs and theories)!!!
