I’ve decided that his arm-piece is more of a portable record-player— basically THIS and THIS combined.
Weird details are that he wears his socks on top of his pants.. and has knee and elbow pads.
His collar is basically that of a tux..except a little more exaggerated!—and his soul gem rests right on top of the center of the bow-tie!

I was going to have Dave in a cool pose and it was going to be awesome but then I realized how much I can’t draw swords. Oh well! But it took a while, and was fun in a frustrating way, and I hope someone out there likes it!
